Stats & history
Random and ranked: battles, win rate, kills, times sunk, K/D, avg. damage, survival rate – plus a daily snapshot and charts for 7, 30 or 90 days.
Motti Sonar tracks your World of Warships statistics, counts every battle of your stream, answers chat commands, shows everything as an OBS overlay and posts your sessions to Discord – with the optional Windows app Sonar Companion even with live player lists, your karma and highlight videos. Free, private, in English, German and Polish.
Random and ranked: battles, win rate, kills, times sunk, K/D, avg. damage, survival rate – plus a daily snapshot and charts for 7, 30 or 90 days.
Starts by itself when you go live. Every battle is detected with ship, result, kills and damage – usually a few minutes after it ends.
!kills, !deaths, !wr, !dmg, !kd, !ranked, !session, !last, !karma, !wows and !stats Name (plus !sessionstart/!sessionend for you and your mods) – renamable and switchable, and for each one you decide who may use it: everyone, followers or mods only. Up to 20 own commands with placeholders, one-click templates and a reply per language.
PR with rating level in !stats, in your own commands and in the overlay – calculated with the formula and ship averages of wows-numbers.com.
Session bar with the last 10 battles, a battle card after every battle and an account card with PR. 6 designs, 4 corners or free placement by dragging in the preview, size per element, 13 sound styles, live preview. The player list of your live battle and your tip champions are parts of their own – and !overlay and !players are there for you and your mods.
Messages come from your own bot (a second Twitch account) or under your own name. Choose what Sonar posts automatically: session start, summary, battles – filtered by victory/defeat and random/ranked.
Post your stream sessions to your Discord server via webhook – as a colourful picture card in overlay style (win rate and PR per battle in wows-numbers colours) or as a text card. Live preview in the settings; if you like, also the stream start and every single battle.
Viewers guess win or loss and the damage of your next battle with !tip and collect points – ranking per stream and month with !tops, and the top 3 appear in your overlay whenever you like (!champions). Rounds close by themselves before the result is visible – with the Sonar Companion they open right when your battle starts.
A golden overlay alarm (plus chat and Discord) when you beat your best damage or kills – overall or on a ship – with a sound of your choice or one you upload yourself. And a monthly and yearly recap card for your dashboard and Discord.
Optional and off by default: compare yourself with up to 10 friends, clan mates or rivals in a table on the dashboard – and with any public player in chat via !vs Name.
Save all settings under a name – e.g. „Ranked evening“ or „Chill stream“ – and switch with one click. Whatever you save goes into the active profile automatically. Your overlay link stays the same, OBS picks up the new look by itself.
Optional Windows app for your gaming PC: reports every battle instantly – the dashboard and overlay show the player list with win rate, PR and an estimated win chance (📺 marks viewers from your chat – with a chat message), tip rounds open exactly when you enter a battle, and your replays are uploaded. Highlight videos: after the battle your kills, citadel hits and big hits are cut together – with intro and ending (ship, map, kills, damage), 7 transitions including the sonar ping (with preview) and even volume – and shown in OBS, optionally posted to Discord. The app explains every OBS setting step by step and sets up the game audio track with one click.
Wargaming doesn't give out your karma – the Sonar Companion reads it straight from the game: every praise or report shows up in your overlay (popup or session bar), !karma answers in chat and the Discord summary shows the karma per battle. Plus what you earned in the session – credits, free XP, commander XP, coal and steel. Who praised or reported you is never shown.
Sonar sets a marker in your Twitch video for every battle – start, end and result (ship, kills, damage) – so you find every battle right away when editing. And the Sonar Companion switches your scenes by itself: battle scene when the battle loads, port scene when you're back – for OBS Studio and Streamlabs Desktop, a pause scene stays untouched. Both can be switched on and off.
One area at a time in a sidebar – general, chat, stream & overlay, connections, account – with search, a dot for unsaved changes and tabs for the overlay: display, size, sound, tip champions and player list.
Every streamer has a separate data area, tokens are stored encrypted, no tracking, delete everything with one click.

Wargaming updates the statistics a few minutes after a battle; Sonar checks every minute. With the Sonar Companion the start of a battle shows up instantly.
Only for karma and earnings, and only if you switch it on: a tiny mod using the official WoWS mod interface (no modpack needed) writes your own karma and resources to the game log, where the Companion reads them. Switch it off and the mod is removed again.
Only partly: Wargaming shares few numbers for hidden profiles. Make it public in the game settings.
In Discord: server settings → Integrations → Webhooks → New webhook → copy the URL. Paste it in Motti Sonar under Settings → Discord and press „Send test“.
The Sonar Companion (Settings → Sonar Companion) and OBS 28 or newer on the same PC with the WebSocket server switched on. For a smooth stream set the recording to „(Use stream encoder)“ and untick „Enable Enhanced Broadcasting“ – the app checks both and shows every step under „Highlights …“.
Yes – next to every command choose „Everyone“, „Followers“ or „Mods only“. For followers, allow the follower check on Twitch once; you and your mods can always use everything.
